By Aurita
The sky has been keeping notes on you since the moment you arrived. Learn to read the language of grahas, rashis and time — not to fear the future, but to walk with it consciously.
The story of this chapter
For thousands of years, Jyotish — “the science of light” — has served as India's great map of time. Not a fortune-telling trick, but a contemplative discipline: a way of locating your life inside larger rhythms, and of meeting time as a companion instead of an ambush.
This course teaches you to read that map yourself. Beginning with the alphabet of the sky — the nine grahas, twelve rashis and twelve bhavas — you will learn to open your own birth chart, understand its major patterns, and follow the unfolding of time through dasha and gochar. The goal is not prediction for its own sake; it is self-knowledge, timing and conscious living.
Curriculum
The nine planets, twelve signs and twelve houses — what each truly signifies, beyond the clichés — and how a chart is constructed.
Reading the janma kundali: lagna, moon sign, planetary placements — building your first honest portrait of the chart you were born with.
Vimshottari dasha periods and current transits — how Jyotish describes the seasons of a life, and how to read your present chapter.
Significant combinations and what they indicate — taught with nuance, context and a firm caution against one-line fatalism.
Using Jyotish for reflection, timing and self-understanding — and the ethics of reading charts for family and friends.
About your mentor

Taught under the Aurita banner, this course treats Jyotish with both reverence and honesty — as a profound contemplative tradition that deserves better than quick predictions. You will be taught to think in the language of the chart, and to hold what you find there lightly and wisely.
